Very short, but still intriguing.
I liked the concept of the song in the story, especially how it leads to a sad but ironic ending.
!!!! SPOILERS AHEAD !!!!
She received the same medicine that her kind gave to the sailors, but what I find impactful about the ending is that she's completely unaware of being the last of her kind.
That ended up making her death even more tragic in my book.
