Nice game. It's sometimes hard to properly fight enemies as you need to go forward to aim at them, so they close in rather fast. Of course that's just what you would expect on an unlucky day as this :D

Yeah I debated changing up the combat but I kind of ended up liking how you have to give up a bit of space in order to deal with an enemy. That's where my 'debris' damage thought initially came from (stop and turn to fire, but then needing to still run away before the debris hits you), but seems like that hasn't come across as I thought.
