There is a thread like this every few weeks.
I do not know how views are counted, or if this is accurate if Itch suffers yet another ddos attack.
But downloads are counted by started downloads and not by completed downloads. So a faulty connection can generate a lot of "downloads".
Edit: Oh. That thread is 2 years old and was resurrected. So yeah, that's a recurring question...
