For its simplicity, the game is nice and polished. The animations and screen shake make it satisfying to crack open the eggs.

This could be a complete misread of the numbers, but the mid-to-late-game upgrades feel like they make almost no difference. Considering that many of the money makers (poops, flies, roses, and cheese) have a drop rate of like 0.3-0.5 per egg, it means you'll quickly end up at the point where you're spending 250-500k for an upgrade that increases your average egg value by a few hundred points. Usually it's not worth upgrading even the best items beyond the 300k cost, as you'll need to break open like 1000 eggs to get the return on investment.

It seems even more harsh with the odds upgrades, as spending just over a million points to increase an item's odds will net you something like a 0.5% increase total, which basically increases the average egg value by like 50-100 points. It takes around 640k to raise the worm's odds to 0.21%, and then another 2 mil to bring it up to 0.25%.

With a clicker there's some expectations that it's going to be grindy and slow, I don't necessarily think slowness is the issue since you're just waiting for that lucky worm drop. But when observing my drops, it seems like many of the upgrades have almost no effect beyond the early, cheap value ups.

I do like the concept, as having to crack open hundreds of eggs for an elusive worm is very funny to me. I do wish there was a more noticeable notification or permanent message at the bottom when getting one, since I spent a lot of time breaking open eggs while not paying attention to the game itself, so many a worm may have passed me by.

Oh wow, thank you for the lengthy feedback, very much appreciated!
You're right about the balancing issues, I made the game in a few hours only, so balancing the game properly has not been well done.
Also fear not, when passing a worm, the game ends on a win screen (: You can mindlessly break those pesky eggs

Haha, thank goodness.

And yeah, that's totally fair. I'd be terrified of designing a clicker, getting the numbers right is super intimidating. Making this in just a few hours sounds challenging.
