I love the REALLY original idea, didn't expect it will be so fun to play!
From visual perspective i appreciate you art, clean and amusing. Music make game more enjoyable.
Mechanic of building is well design, i love this effect of zoom to character. Make it more "juicy". What i improve i would keep some small notes with reminder of controls, i did restart game to again understand how to build and gain life.
For sure i would add some extra checkpoint before boss fight (maybe there is but didnt find)
