Ah, this was a really strong piece! It was wonderfully written, capturing that classic, slow-building horror feel to an excellent degree! It was as eerie as it was nostalgic, highlighted by its theme of trauma and regret. I loved how we got to learn about Carmen through the main character, their mother, and her "things". You could really feel for the mother in the final act, which was a highlight for me. Excellent work!
