Already had plans for Zy and Ray to be friends, I think at first Ray will think Zy is lazy since she never sees her doing anything (referencing how Zygarde was just sort of... there in X and Y), after a while she realizes that it's not that Zy does nothing, it's that Groudon and Kyogre fight so much (where Xerneus and Yveltal are kind of friends) that Ray is really overworked in comparison.
I'll need to look into the Tapus some more to plan them out
