I don't know why but whenever i play the downloaded version i cannot select any buttons, the active button indicator is hidden and by pressing any key it open the web page, only esc key spawns the quit buttons with active button indicators

I'm afraid I'm not sure what's going on, I'm sorry! I haven't seen that problem before and can't imagine what's causing it. Maybe if you post a screenshot or link to a video here I'll be able to take a better look.

here is the video, at a certain point i press enter and it opens the patreon page but the video was still recording the game window:

I know! It's steam input fucking with the controls as it is wont to do for a lot of non-steam games, including some emulators, iirc :P

You just gotta unplug/turn off your controller if you're willing to use keyboard, but if not, I think you might have to either exit steam or restart the computer entirely lol

i'm not using steam to launch the game,
but unpluging the gamepad fixed the issue, thanks!!

Ok no you're right, it's just if you have a controller on before starting the game (at least a bluetooth one)! My bad :P

Thanks Goober! I hope when I eventually bring this to Steam (if it'll be allowed), that that will resolve the issue.

Yeah sorry it's actually if a controller is connected to the PC :P The one I have is a Dualshock 4 and it doesn't matter if it's connected wirelessly or plugged into the machine, idk if that makes any difference
