It's a good start and I would be curious to see it fleshed out a bit. I think some sound effects would elevate the combat. The combat system itself is intriguing - I think it would be fun to manage mana or something to add another layer of difficulty. It was very hard to lose the fight but I did manage to do it - the game froze.
