Showing my age here, but “Analog Memories” makes me think about those 70s and 80s anime cartoons. There were loads, and most of them had spaceships and robots.
I always liked how they incorporated those lighting effects, like the eyes glowing and the “anime gleam”. I think that was all analog, like they used cutouts and actual backlighting on film (I think?). In the end they’re just silly saturday morning cartoons, but clearly quite some effort went into these animations. And they just looked so cool 😎
