How many characters are currently implemented in the free version and when can we expect to see new characters added?

The current version is a demo and has a total of 11 characters which you can get. On the official release it will be the same 11 characters as currently. Every 2-3 weeks after release there will be a new banner containing 6 new characters until there is a total of ~30. Afterward, there will be a new banner every month with 3 characters.
So in short, new characters won't come soon as the game is still in beta. When the release comes, there will be more. Also keep in mind, all accounts will be reset upon the official release so you won't keep progress.
Also, the game will always be free and have the same characters available for everyone (with a few exceptions). Patreon subscribers will get like a monthly pass with extra rewards but nothing too different.
