Impressive visuals, a grand scale, but it is completely wasted - not good.
The premise of the game seems genuinely interesting. The main protagonist is looking for Mary, the daughter. The searching part before the church sequence really invested my interest. Yet after that, it was a drag. Almost 10 + minutes spend just wondering cluelessly, passing buried houses and discovering - nothingness.
I wouldn't say the game suffers from the lack of atmosphere, yet it has no direction, at all. Given such a grand scale, the game could have showcased some notes, maybe even survivors or couple of points where the protagonist finds out what caused the storm. The ambiguity with games like this works if you have some meat to chew on for the player. Sadly, this was a disappointment.
