I REALLY LOVED THE MUSIC, so quirky and fitting for the game. But is that pad not the one for ableton pirates lel? Also I got stuck on the second level until I realised if I left full screen mode I could see the glitched wall, so some monitors might be struggling with this one. I really needed those hints too. Cool game guys!

thank you for playing the game and enjoying it. And as the composer, I am happy that you specifically liked the music.

In case you are wondering, the synth pad is two VSTs layered on top each other - one called NY by Fullbucket, the other one is DSK Ethereal Pads. They are free VSTs. I sampled them down in low quality and then reduced them to mono, to get a low-fi sound that fits the pixel aesthetics more. it also makes the pads fairly dense I think, which is a really nice sound for these kind of pixel style games. There is more audio effects and processing on that, but that is mostly it. The DAW i used is LMMs.

I hope this answers your question.

hahahaha got ya, appreciate the explanation. I'm not sure if you know about it, but what I'm refering to is the Ableton crack key gen song, which, I admit, I am guilty of hearing before. However, I've since spent 1k on 12 tho, outch. Crazy that the program to use Ableton for free had an anime girl and a theme song. Anyway, really love ya harmonic ideas and how the song keeps on moving. Real big brain stuff for a 3day game.
