This may come as an unexpected response but one of the barriers is documentation by Roland believe it or not. The little manual which ships with the FA-08 barely touches the surface. This is good, because there -is- existing a Below to explore. This is bad, because the printed material is like less than 10% of the functionality of the instrument. So as to dynamics : I am learning indirectly by asking Grok that the FA-08 can handle some real-time dynamics alterations and save them as performance data as well as tempo variance, it's just an uphill battle learning to wield it presently :)
