because they are doing sussy things. nevermind splitting planned content into "DLC" you have to be a patreon to access, nevermind splitting this off from the first game in an attempt to be paid twice:
the first game got an update, and the "download link" goes to a member's only patreon download.
oh, and this title just does not work for like 99% of people. i'm frankly amazed itch is allowing the page here to persist.
