So I actually REALLY love the concept of this and would love to see it fleshed out, but the game as is seems to not do as well as it could in giving the core mechanic a point. The shotgun is more realistic to how real shotguns work in that it still just obliterates the enemies at a "medium" (medium for a game, close for IRL) range, which I do like but doesn't serve the point of the gun where you have to adapt your gameplay too much based on your gun, mainly you just need to keep yourself from blowing up from the two explosive guns.
There are a crouch and a dash, which the game does not tell you. The crouch can be used to go under tables (nullifying the point of level 3) and to make yourself unable to be hit by the melee enemies whatsoever, and super unlikley to be hit by the ranged enemies. The dash also nullifies the weakness of explosive weapons. These are only balanced by the fact that the game never tells you about them.
That is... for the first 5 levels, which is all I could manage to play. I played this game for 2 hours, and about an hour of that was spent on level 5, because the 6th info box just... seems to have spawned outside the map. I looked for it for about twenty minutes before I eventually restarted the whole level, did everything again, got to crate 6, and spent another 15-20 minutes. I wanted to beat the game because I wanted to be nice and play it to ultimately leave a nice comment on this page that had yet not had a comment. I'm not sure how nice the comment can be however on a game I couldn't beat because, seemingly, the objective of the game spawned outside the map twice.
Overall, I'd say this game is a high concept game with a killer concept that WILL one day be the basis of an amazing game that might even start a new subgenere. I wanted to leave a comment on this game in particular because I love, love, LOVE the concept. I'd adore seeing this game fleshed out, and I hope this comment isn't taken as hating, in reality I might be this game's biggest fan. It just isn't ready for play, and needs some work to get to that leve, but I TRULY believe that with enough work and love, this game has the potential to hit it big.
yeah that was a ridiculous blunder. I adapted the code from my earlier game lady in a leotard with a gun but the backup I had wasn’t from the final game. Earlier on I’d implemented crouching but in the final game I’d removed it but the backup I used for Multigun still had crouching and I didn’t realise and the entire time I was developing it I never pressed the crouching button
i donn't know if this helps. The 6th block is located where i've got it selected there.
Unless you mean the 7th block which is the one you'd be going for when it says 6 on the screen which is this one below. I thought it would be this one because I always found it the most difficult to find theres a lot of wrong turns you can take trying to find it sending you in circles
