Cool game! The art is seriously incredible, both the pixel art and the character art. I do think there could have been more gameplay wise though. It was pretty basic, I think for turn based games you need to present the player with some more interesting choices. The way it currently is, it's pretty obvious you have to move and attack when you are in the center and not getting attacked. I was ably to easily beat the boss without prep on my first try. Though, spoilers, she did end up getting me anyway :D

Congrats on the game!

Thank you so much! I definitely agree that the combat could be much improved in future iterations!

I really liked the graphics and the writing was pretty good too!  I do think some more sound effects would have gone a long way

Developer

Thank you, and I definitely agree!

goddamn that box art is insane

this game is awesome but for art I'd say you should prob keep your art consistent, game being pixel and during dialogue vector feels weird....  other than that this game is amazing!

Thank you!

Interesting game! Really impressive for a solo dev to make this. I did take the coward's way and stacked bodies including the ones giving powerups before the main boss but was still a really cool concept to explore in a short playthrough. Congrats on your game!

Also missed opportunity you could've had the main character do the kagurabachi pose to finish off the final boss but just a nitpick, nothing against the final game.

Developer

Thank you so much! I definitely wanted to add more flair to that final boss fight but didn't have enough time. When I eventually come back to this game, I'll definitely consider adding that!

The art is amazing. Good gameplay and audio as well. One feedback is (as other says) that the battles is a bit slow paced. But this is really good for being made by a single person, good job!

Thank you!
