The demo gives next to no clue what the game is about; the demo always makes us lose from the darkness, so we don't get to enter a preview of the game itself. I picked novel mode, but still, I had to make manual choices.
Yes, you’re right. It’s designed that way. :)
Novel mode doesn’t remove choices, since some may alter the future path with each character. It just disables the time limit in quick actions, and skips future puzzles.
Keep in mind that this is just a short demo, with most of the UI unfinished.
We hope you try the game again, when we publish the 0.1 version (around next month). ^^
