Your game has a nice visual style and fitting audio, but the game play feels a bit unclear and frustrating, which hurts engagement. The theme is represented visually, though not strongly in the mechanics, leading to a mixed impression overall. It's a nice entry for the jam though! This is my rating in detail:
Gameplay / Fun / Engagement ●●●○○
The game play felt frustrating to me. The hints disappeared too quickly, and to see them again I had to restart — which made it hard to understand what to actually do beyond just moving around. Once knowing it is an interesting idea to move to the pentanoids and save them, but it gets kinda boring quickly, which is why its a solid 3 out of 5 for me.
Art Style / Visuals ●●●●○
Visually, the game looks nice, and I liked the animations. However, the use of circles for the void made it difficult to distinguish these circle elements, and this weakened the fit with the “limited shapes” constraint. Because of that, I subtracted one point and rated visuals 4 out of 5.
Audio / Sound Design ●●●○○
The audio fits the void-like atmosphere well. It’s not particularly memorable or special, but it does support the mood of the game. Overall, a solid but average implementation, so 3 out of 5 feels fair.
Theme ●●●●○
The theme is represented visually through the confined space, which initially looks promising. However, in game play terms, the limited space didn’t really come across in a meaningful way, since not much seemed to happen. That’s why I rated it 4 out of 5.
