It could have probably won the jam if it was rated in time, really good ambient, well polished and good story. Fit perfectly into the theme.

Honestly, I would have felt awkward if this late submission would have won the jam (and that is a big 'if' since yours and the other game were very good).
But since I made this game from start to finish especially for this jam I still wanted to finish it and submit so others could enjoy it - would have been a shame to waste it. The winning was not really important. With every project I hope to learn and grow.
