Apparently, this is an issue with some players...I am looking into a fix. and will get back to you if I find anything.

The only thing I will ask you to try is updating your .NET...since it is required to run the game and APPARENTLY Windows 11 stopped bundling it.

I found the issue and temporarily reverted the game to version 1.0.0. It should be working for you to enjoy while I figure out what caused 1.5.0 to break.
