Great game! I like the twist on a normal platformer where you can only move left/right while jumping. Definitely makes it more interesting! I also like the art and the music. I do have a few issues/suggestions, though:

1. The music is good, but it's too quiet. I had to turn my volume all the way to 100 to be able to hear it, and it was still kind of quiet.

2. The levels felt too punishing. It was way too easy to bounce off of things that weren't considered to be bouncy. Like the walls. This made it very easy to try to make a jump, bump into the wall, and get thrown in the other direction.

3. Whenever the glass lands on the ground, it slides around, which also makes it harder to plan jumps or to land on things. I think a sliding/slipping mechanic could be good if it was limited to certain foods/platforms. Kind of like what you have with the “bouncy” foods.

4. Not necessary for the game to be playable, but an indicator to show the height/arc of the jump would be great.

Otherwise, great job!

Really appreciate the detailed feedback! You made some great points, especially about the music volume and the sliding should have been less slippery overall, defiantly needs tweaking. We also thought about adding a jump charge indicator but ran out of time during the jam. We’ll definitely keep your suggestions in mind if we decide to develop a more polished version in the future. Thanks again for playing!
