I can't comment on possible third person scenes, but I believe the goal with having a faceless MC is exactly what you mentioned in regards to making them your own character/self insert/etc.
We know that people will like/dislike certain girls in the house, and that's fair! Which is why we aimed for a diverse cast, with their unique looks and personalities.
We have been tackling QoL stuff within the game (like the latest version over on Patreon, that has a lewdness tracker!) and polishing/revamping some earlier scenes too.
