Read the Patreon post. If you have labor union or anything that receives reports regarding illegal business in your country, document all the correspondence and send it to them immediately. It is actually illegal to not pay you for your work, and it a common theme for such manipulators to say they'll do it later - especially if you're financially dependent on them, because you're afraid to call them on it. And you shouldn't call THEM on it - just report it to the Labor Union authorities.
