How does the game fit the theme?
The game fits the theme by letting you take risk: at certain point, you choose a card with buffs or debuffs that can change your path.
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
I used asset from the Kenny website, and received help with PauseManager.cs, FinishTrigger.cs, and a few trap implementations.

It was hard, but I liked the rest of the game.

Love the concept though the game can be very challenging, maybe because of our character's or spikes hitbox !
Love the art style too ! Gg !
the artstyle was soo good
The style is cool, but the game seemed quite difficult
Awesome animation, the challenge is perfect!
maybe i'm bad at platforming but i couldn't seem to get away from that skull. i got much more progress done when i realized i had a double jump lol but that still didn't prevent me from dying very quickly very often
Really cool game! Artistically it reminded me of Gato Roboto which I love, the idea is also pretty cool but as some people mentioned the beginning could be a little easier to introduce mechanics and game flow to the player. One thing I also had in mind while playing it is that it could adapt in some way the next platforms the player will have to go to really give the idea that if he chose wrong, he cannot go that way (to not be frustrating it could have a alternative path but one he would not go at first) just to give a more weight to the choice, Nice work!
Hey friend! I really appreciate your idea, that actually sounds really fun and cool, thank you for the feedback <3 I'll see if we can add it ^^
I really enjoyed the game, it was a bit difficult for me but overall it was good! great game!
We also made a game called Logic Bomb, would love if you check it out!
Hey!! Thank you so much!! Oooo your game looks very exciting and funny, me and friends will check ^^ !
Awesome game! the mechanics is straightforward, easy to understand, the controls are responsive and very good use of physics , I like the art and the color palette , very relaxing to the eyes. This has good replay value, and a save point would be nice. Overall, I enjoyed playing this one , congratulations! keep it up!
Ty so much Ironhand <3 This is our first game, means alot!!
The movement was pretty neat, but getting chased by the red thing right from the start without time to getting used to the movement makes it pretty frustrating I think. Quite hard game
Thanks a lot for the feedback! We originally wanted it to be difficult at first but we made it more frustrating than challenging due to our inexperience i guess xp I will look into easing the UX!
phew a very tough plattformer for me - the red thing killed me and killed me again. I had the feeling that my hitbox might be a tad too big.
Otherwise I loved the retrovibes in this. Well done!
Thank you so much for the feedback! Glad you like the artstyle. We realized that we didn’t take proper care of the obstacles’ hitboxes. This is our first ever game jam game, we’re looking forward to improving it. :)
Its a nice platformer but sadly a big problem with the artstyle you chose is knowing which things are solid and which are passthru, like the pipes, a chandelier, etc. makes it a bit frustrating losing beacuse of that
Hey Benji, thanks so much for the feedback <3 We really should have added at least a tutorial or some signs. We ended up creating a pretty frustrating user experience, haha ;v;
