After playing this game for literal hours every day I can say I am officially addicted. Every time I open my computer I find myself starting it up for a dress or two before doing something else, just because of how fun it is to see the garments come to life.

Having put this much time into it, I have a couple of suggestions and/or things I would love to see in the game in future:

1. The ability to recut and therefore either discard or even store cut fabric pieces. Sometimes I find myself cutting a piece from the wrong fabric, for which the only current solution is to recut the whole pattern from scratch, meaning a big loss in fabric and time, especially when everything else has been cut. Perhaps there could be a sort of scrap basket, where pieces can be discarded or stored for later use? Would love to see what that would look like functionally.

2. In the same vein, an ability to seam-rip already sewn pieces. Currently, the only way to redo a piece is to purposefully ruin the seam whilst actively sewing. If you fail to do this, tough luck, the piece is gonna stay bad quality. I do understand this adds some difficulty to the game, but perhaps this could be an option for more perfectionist players to really get the best quality out of their pieces. It might also be nice to then have some sort of way to see what the quality of the seams is, maybe different coloured outlines along the garment? Again, would love to see what could be done with this.

3. The fabric selection is lovely, especially the fact that there are different materials for different use cases and with different properties. However, in the final designs, these differences aren't often apparent visually. What I would love to see is a clearer visual differentiation between silks, satins, wools, cottons and linens through texture and perhaps a sheen or mattification where applicable. Not being a game developer myself I don't know how difficult or possible this is, but I would love to see an attempt! This could really make the final dresses shine (no pun intended) even more and really convey the vibe of the pieces (utilitarian vs glamorous, etc.). And of course, more fabrics are always welcome ;)

4. I have already seen this suggested in this thread, but a better sorting option for fabric, especially in the cutting menu, would be lovely. Especially when you have such minimal amounts left that they cannot even be used anymore, but you still have to scroll past them to get to whatever fabric you desire, it can be a bit frustrating. I wouldn't mind this being through a menu, such as in the fabric store, where you first select your fabric and are then guided to the current fabric cutting screen. The scrolling option could even stay this way, it would just be much easier to select the first fabric to start with.

These are just a couple things I would like to see and I'm sure I will come back and comment more whenever I come up with them.
I did also want to add some bugs that I've stumbled into, which might be worth fixing for future updates:

1. The sewing guideline sometimes disappears when using the sewing machine. This sometimes fixes itself when clicking out and back into the menu, but sometimes I just have to guess where it wants me to go to complete it. I'm not sure if this is already being inspected, but might be worth looking into.

2. The cut pieces reappearing on the cutting table after discarding fabric is unfortunately still happening to me, even with the new version. I'm not quite sure what causes it and it isn't that big of a deal to me personally, as I just adapt my playstyle to keep this in mind, but I can see how it can be a bit frustrating for other players.

3. For some reason, when purchasing at least one of each of the accessories, I wasn't able to scroll down in the dressmaking menu to access all of them. It works fine in the sketchbook (which is awesome btw, great job on whoever designed it), but when I want to put it on the dresses, only the first rows of accessories are accessible to me. Not sure if anybody else has had this problem, but it was a bit frustrating, as I had to use up all of the accessories on the top first before being able to use the rest.

That's a couple thoughts from me on this wonderful game. I really enjoy playing it and these are just some mild suggestion on things I would like to see improved, but I will definitely keep playing regardless.
Many thanks to the team behind the creation of this work of art, you guys rock! Can't wait to see what this will one day look like as a finished game, as even the prototype is so engaging and addicting.

Thank you for the feedback! You ARE actually able to recut individual panels without needing to redraft the entire dress! We will work on the tutorial more going forward.

Oh, that's awesome! I just don't know how apparently hahah. Will try this right now!

Edit: Oh wow, and it's so simple too! Just put the same piece down on the fabric and use the scissors. Mind: blown. Thanks for letting me know!
