Beachside: The sound of an acoustic guitar duet is so peaceful and always manages to make me imagine being in a peaceful outdoor setting. The pad that you chose seems like a gentle breeze in the background which is something that I associate with the beach.
Sunset on the Pier: Your guitar performance is really impeccable. I also love the addition of the piano, clarinet, and the subtle cymbal swell. These additions add to the emotional detail and complexity of the scene you are painting.
Peaceful Evening: The moment of emergence at 1:25 was a favorite moment for me in this track. The rising arpeggio/ostinato movements at first made me think of a morning scene, but as the song went on, the imagery changed to be more of a rising of the stars or of fireflies. This is indeed a song for a peaceful evening.
Walk Down Main Street: The addition of drums is a great injection of energy into this soundtrack. I love that you maintain the peaceful vibe and help glue the tracks together with the same pad from previous tracks.
Firefly Melodies: The flute and glockenspiel together work really well to evoke the sense of fireflies in an evening meadow. I particularly like the reverb and delay that you used on this track to create a magically expansive sense of location.
Reverie At Dawn: Wow this is really beautiful. The violin and piano melody is really well-written and deserves to be highlighted! The growth of this track is very satisfying, and the addition of other instruments is subtle, but adds so much. In particular, the vocal adds warmth and intimacy which helps make this track even more beautiful! Great work.
Overall: What a beautiful concept for a game, or a story in general. The peacefulness is conveyed so well throughout every track, and still maintains a good variety of different feelings representing the different areas well.
