Yeah, the VN feeling in my solo tracks was intentional since I really like stuff like the music from a lot of KEY visual novels like Clannad, AIR and Kanon.
Thanks for the kind words, and yeah mixing hard... I'm still trying to learn how to handle that sort of thing and feedback like that helps a lot
