Excellent game. Beautifully presented with great visuals and a great OST (awesome lyrics), the audio experience was really spot on. Loved the choice of font and the cleanliness of the UI. The adherence to the theme was five stars for sure. Biscuits, risk, cute hamsters, it's all there, and very obviously in the theme too (good for a game jam).

It did feel like it could be very replayable, as someone else mentioned, but I really struggled with the controls. I could not get to grips with the grapple hook, even though I did the tutorial where you were forced to do it to progress. Great job having a tutorial BTW! As a result I was never able to get off the ground reliably and I kept getting caught on the edges of bits of furniture or just not even managing to jump at all. This meant that I only managed to go for two rounds before the game ended. I tried three games but I just couldn't work out how to use the grappling hook properly.

Great job and my favourite so far. Just a shame that for me the enjoyment wasn't very high due to my skill issue with the controls.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such an extensive comment, it really means a lot to us! We're glad you appreciated so many sides of our game, everyone in the team was thrilled to read your review! :)

I understand what you mean, the hook's controls do take a while to get used to, and I think we just got used to it during development, and left it as we thought it was fine, but we have much more experience with it than new players. We want to add a beta test phase into our game jams but we've never managed to, for now ^^'
