A good start for a rogue lite dungeon crawler, but needs a bit of tweaking to make it pop.
Some suggestions from my side:
- I would like dash to be based on the direction of my movement, not where I am attacking.
- I would like the upgrades to make a real difference (not just "on paper"). For example, I believe you sometimes upgrade your strength, but you still need to use the same amount of slashes to kill an enemy.
- The upgrades need some work. I played for 30 minutes, but barely felt I made any progress, despite spending around 20000 coins.
- It would be nice if some of the rooms have multiple exits, so I can choose which way to go.
But overall, it is well done. The controls felt responsive, the game ran smoothly, and I liked the silliness of the dialogue.
