Installed the new update a couple of days ago.
Tried launching the game today, and I don't have a working copy of the game any more, because the updated files are the Steam version, not a standalone that's playable outside of Steam.

Need this fixed so I can have my game back.

It should run fine without Steam. If you run it while Steam is installed it will default to launching via Steam, but without Steam installed it will still run. If you don't want it to launch through Steam delete steam_api64.dll and Steamworks_x64.dll.

When this is the only thing that opens on launch, I'd say "runs fine without Steam" is the exact opposite of correct. Deleting the Steam files worked, but you shouldn't be including files in your uploads here that break the game for users who don't run the game through Steam.

Oh that's weird. It runs fine on our Windows 10 machines without Steam installed and without deleting the Steam files. What version of Windows are you running?

Either way, you are right. I'll delete the Steam files and re-upload in a bit. Thanks for the heads up.
