I like the concept, reminds me a bit of the escape sequence from Chicken Run. I couldn't quite find the exit but the controls felt pretty good. I do think for your camera though that you'll want to have it look a bit more ahead of the player when moving up and down so you can see where you are going but since there weren't any enemies it didn't cause any problems and the side-to-side camera movement was good. This is pretty good for being relatively new to coding and your first project in an engine. Great work!
