Pretty cool! I liked the gameplay loop. It felt very easy and a bit confusing - the rail gun and blaster seem to be identical? Once you get a weapon upgrade you essentially have unlimited fuel. Seems to me the player shouldn’t get to refill without docking and losing their bonus though, and that probably it should be distance based rather than time? It’s unclear what the defense modules do, flight ones are pretty self explanatory. Not sure I saw where I can see the turrets’ health vs monarch’s. If you play a while you end up with a bunch of extra B and A tokens and it’d make sense if upgrading the Monarch eventually cost more. The fact that you only have to collect reactor bits to win feels a bit wrong because grabbing those is the easiest thing you can do, I guess that’s why the limited inventory?

Of course, the unskippable opening cutscene was cool the first time and not so much further attempts. Music would’ve been nice! It was also confusing to be so zoomed out by default - zooming in makes it harder and maybe zooming out could be an unlock.

Mostly I’m complaining about little tiny balance things that could easily be tweaked into a really solid, fun, highly replayable game. Good work!

You're not really complaining in my opinion, these are all genuine concerns that should have been addressed but honestly a lack of time to properly playtest is what I'd say is our reason for all these issues. Either way we're glad you enjoyed our game and we're very grateful for all this beneficial feedback you've given us :D
