Very interesting concept that I'm sure could be fleshed out with more time! I wanted to really like the combat but I eventually figured out every battle could more or less be beaten by just zig zagging across the board. I understand that the intention is to do "show routes" and cleverly intercept them along their routes, but I never felt the need to do that (or maybe I just kept getting lucky with my zig zags), and thus never felt the need to rest at a campfire either. Introducing more elements to combat like obstacles could help fix that. I love Phaser, and it makes me really happy to see someone use it!
