This is really, really well made considering the time constraints and how long you've been doing this! You genuinelymight have some hidden musical talent that was uncovered thanks to these jams, I'm kinda jealous lol. You must've practiced a lot for this to come to fruition. When I was 1 year into making music I was still figuring out how to add reverbe to multiple instruments in my song without crashing Cubase lmao.

The main theme works really well, it may not be the most groundbreaking thing ever, but it sets up the mood perfectly

I've already commented on your battle track in the server, but I noticed you've added a lot of embelishments to it that really make it pop. I especially liked the whimsy touches near the middle

Eryndor's Madness was really something, it felt really cinematic. The violas representing the hero was a really nice touch, and the build up was amazing. I'm not sure how I feel about the battle theme coming back, at first it felt a little abrupt, but hearing it evolve into a completely different song sold it for me.

I hope you come back to this project and add a few other songs to finish your vision, cause the stuff that's there is really something.

heeeeey thank you so much for the great write-up and compliments,  but don't get it twisted it might just be my AuDHD working for me lol

I was really happy with the final development of the battle track, like you say it was missing things still and wasn't really super happy with it until these little touches, and I felt it was a bit too serious/intense for a "standard" battle theme, hence swapping to winds which I didn't have yet at that point and that added exactly that little magic I was looking for.

Eryndor'ss Madness though was me going way over my skill level lol, but I said well let's try, at first it was a disaster to be honest, but I started gaining confidence as I went. As for the battle theme coming back, I think I liked the abruptness in this "medley" in the sense that in the "story" of that battle as laid out in my description, it's the moment just after the hero transforms basically into the god of light Helios, and the real insane battle begins, but I can see that it could be a bit shocking lol, I tried to alleviate it by modifying a bit the keys so it would still feel connected but I obviously didn't do the best job at it but it's a good learning experience.

I do have a few of the tracks in mind that I'd like to do but I also have for the first time the "drive" to do some music for a project outside the Jam, I think this third jam gave me a bit more confidence and learning to write on a sheet like dorico helped me express better my ideas than I could on Studio One like in the other 2 jams.

Sorry for the long write-up but thank you so much for the encouragtement and checking the music out!
