I have a love/hate relationship with doomed relationships. I love them because I like torturing my character, but I hate them because them make my heart clench :(
I feel you! I will probably try to give a happy ending to their relationship one day in the future but considering Baxter's personality, it would probably take a long time for both of them for reach that end.
