I also make use of spreadsheets to hash out narrative structure, which this time was relatively plain which I'm a little disappointed with but it worked well for this project.

You cannot speak to each character every day or we would run out of scenes, so I sketched out a rough timetable.

"Each character has 7 possible scenes, here are the rough beats I want to hit" lets you write more or less stream-of-consciousness and focus in on dialogue and fun world stuff rather than structure.

These changed quite a lot in the writing/editing process but they were useful jumping points.
