Could you expand on what you mean by pressing space being unnecessary? If you mean that you shouldn't have to press space at all, wouldn't that just remove the rhythm & combo aspect? And if you mean you shouldn't need to go to a specific square, wouldn't that just remove the risk & reward aspect?

Yeah, I was a bit confused by having to press space, but there wouldn't be a rhythm aspect without it, so I guess you could  just say it was a skill issue on my end. And I didn't even struggle with it that much, it only took a couple of beats before I got the hang, so it isn't even that hard to learn. Sorry for giving you the wrong idea!
