My malevolence, this VN truly is something else~! I already knew going in, thanks to a long history of listening to Pengo music over the years, that the soundtrack was going to be top-notch—and, of course, it absolutely was—but I was impressed yet further by the art! It's all so distinct, so vibrant, and so expressive, working wonders to establish the characters through their body language in tandem with the text; and that's saying nothing of that one incredibly illustrated interaction between Limno and Cherri, heheheh~
And speaking of the text, the character writing here is airtight! As cartoonish as Limno might appear to the casual observer, his neuroses are in fact all too realistic, and are portrayed with terrific, unflinching accuracy here. At a higher level, Limno's bombastic anxiety makes for an excellent juxtaposition with Gloria's icy and aloof temperament—which just makes me all the more restless to see how the ticking time bomb of a cliffhanger ending with her and Limno plays out...
Brilliant work! I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for the full release, heheheheh~
P.S.: Gloria is far and away my favorite~
