Nice to see someone with a similar idea for this jam I had to play. I like the direction you took, the upgrades with unique downsides is very nice and the asteroid belt and space visuals are crisp. My only critique is about the progress bars, it took me a while to figure out that laser straight into the rock goes past the sweetspot and destroys the value. I think more visual feedback that you are damaging the minerals in the asteroid would help a lot with this. Also the effectiveness bar fills up too fast before updating to the players visuals. If you hold down the laser for say 5 seconds and let go, it will keep climbing for a while after likely going past the progress sweetspot and adding instability, this can make it hard to recover from a back starting drill. Other than that I really like this game and idea, good luck!!

Thanks for checking out my game and really appreciate the detailed feedback! Totally agree on the bars and visual feedback aspects, will definitely try to rework and improve upon it. The original idea for the effectiveness bar was for it to have some sort of "delay" or acceleration on it so it is a challenge to control it precisely (in-lore would be it takes time for the asteroid to settle down lol). But I completely understand where you're coming from, I'll try to tweak the balance and experiment on it for the future. And I'm looking forward to play your game now too! Cheers
