Played both versions just to see.  Downloadable is certainly better.  In the web version, walking forward slowly made me look down.  I took my hand off the mouse and took a long walk forward just make sure I wasn't going crazy.  This does not happen in the downloadable version.  Sound is also much better in the downloadable version for some reason.  I can't say I made it very far.  I kept getting that red ghost thing following me.  Doesn't seem to be a way to get rid of him aside from finding an exit.  Graphics are stylistically good.  Music fit the game, but got repetitive.  Gameplay  was good for this genre.  Great job!

I saw your game because it was in the "very long rate for rate" thread.  Was hoping you could give mine a go as well?  Thanks!

You’re actually supposed to try and avoid the ghost! It is intended for you to not be able to get rid of it. It only follows you if you actually look at it! You can barely notice it in the outer edgew of your vision and avoid making eye contact. As for the music, this is the first actual tune I ever make, so I’ll take “good, but repetitive” any time of the day!

Don’t forget, you can “bank out” at any point by using the escape rope in the starting room of each floor! But you could also risk it and go just one level deeper…
