The game itself is really fun. I had just one issue when on day 3 I lost the game due to lack of money even though I had over 150 coins left just mostly on the ground. Other than that everything works great and I had a lot of fun with this one.
Yeah its something that is really not well explained. It can happen that there is no gold left in the pit, so an enemy may notice and "tell the boss" that its empty. You will see that if the icon above an enemies head is an envelope. If they escape with the envelope you loose as well.
