The dev's already said they're not interested in doing a multiplayer version of the game for reasons others have said, but there's also mods on Thunderstore for this exact purpose for older versions anyway.
I doubt that most of the people that bring this up are aware of this fact so I'm just letting you know that inclusion of a multiplayer mode in any game isn't anywhere near as simple as it sounds. There's a lot that goes into even the simplest multiplayer games from the developer's side, so don't hold out hope for such a concept being implemented into VotV any time soon.
