Did you read the READ_ME.txt file in the patch zip?
Did you verify you have copied all the necessary files form the update to the game folder?
At what point in launching the game does that error appear?
If you suspect the save is broken, try another save. Game has automatic saves, go left in the saved games screen.
I always read the instructions.
I downloaded it as before. I moved the files to where they were supposed to be and overwrote them. The error appears after clicking "continue" and "load save."
Although at the beginning there was no error (there was a normal screen), until I accidentally clicked "back" on the options bar (e.g. skip, auto, save)
