I'm sorry but atm I can't start the game at all (stuck at the menu scene and can't click anything)
Same happened with me, press 'tab' to navigate between the buttons. For some reason the mouse cursor doesn't work in the main menu when u first enter the game.
That's some trickey to be sure. Also I think you might have triple click the comments above
