Bought this 3 years ago when it was $4. Now to get the Beta I need to pay 12 additional dollars? Can I just pay 8 additional? What can I do here?
That would have been when we had a free version and an optional donation. It should still be tied to your account. See if you can dig up the email confirmation from itch to associate it with your account, otherwise DM me on Discord.
