Hello, does this video have to be in English? I imagine so, but my English is really bad. Can I have a friend or an AI read the text to make sure I'm understood?

Dr P, You may provide it in French and havea friend or AI do the English in separate video if you choose!

does it have to be 15 minutes?  ie: can it be shorter if you cover the topic?

HostSubmitted(-1)

To level the playing field it needs to be minimum of 15 minutes, you can go over though.

If I am a content creator who speaks Spanish, but I put YouTube subtitles in English, does it count?

HostSubmitted

15 minutes is excessive. It also seems like it's going to unfairly penalize people who don't have a good video set up, experience with filming and editing software, or spare time. 5 minutes should be more than enough.

yeah, i cant be bothered. i left the jam.

To reiterate, the video is used to show other users how you made the game, A teaching tool if you will to help others learn something in Fusion.

Then why not run a tutorial competition elsewhere? This is a gamejam for game developers. Demanding a video at all is silly, insisting on that video being 15 minutes long is absolutely demented.

Jaytmek, Appreciate your feedback. It's not for everyone. And perhaps when we do the next PixelCRAM we will not include the requirement. If you choose to bow out hopefully we can see on the next one.

Here's hoping you've learned what a game jam is by then! I'm not holding my breath!
