Hello! Welcome to Feedback Quest 8! My name's Hythrain, a co-host and one of the streamers for this event! This feedback is being written live as I stream your game! If you're interested in seeing my live reaction, let me know and I can send you a link to the VOD once it's posted to YouTube!
So my normal approach for any game in these events is simple: I get the game, make sure it's not a virus, then play it with as little information on how to play as possible. This way, I can judge how intuitively someone can figure out the game. Only if it's obvious that I need to read more will I do so. I note this so you can get a sense where some of these feedback comes from. In addition, I want to note that feedback and rating are different; don't use this feedback to gauge what I'll rate, nor should you view my rating as entirely indicative of my feedback.
Ok! So I got through the tutorial, I wrote down all the stuff I needed to and I have a basic idea of how to crap... I mean how to play craps.
With that said, wow did I get a very fun build early on. Got the coin that rerolls a dice if one dice is 1 or 2 but the other isn't, then immediately after I got the dice that only roll 1 through 4 but favour 1 and 2. I started making big wins, as all I needed to do was bet on the 2 and 3 Horn bets, and a safety bet on the double 2 Hardway. After that I began making massive wins, even drawing the attention of the a-hole Manager, and went on to play Endless. Unfortunately, I was doomed to lose once the required win amount was over $1.8 million. I simply didn't have enough bankroll to make it happen.
So now that I've had a good go, let's see what feedback I can give... in all honesty, there's only one thing I can think of: there should be a way to convert your winnings into bankroll, or at least more of your wins should be added to your bankroll. Losing not because my strategy wasn't working but because it just wasn't feasible for me to reach the necessary winnings due to bankroll just feels bad, man. My hands were on fire! I was cookin' them wins up, and I lost only because it wasn't even possible for me TO win.
Otherwise, it's a ton of fun. I'm normally not into these various roguelite casino games, but this one I could see playing as it expands out more.
Oh, also I think one of the coins is bugged. There's a coin that, from my interpretation, was supposed to multiply your winnings based on the number of times a number was rolled. Can't remember the exact text because my memory is... well, crap... but you can see it in the VOD. If it had been working like I thought, I would've had no issue maintaining my streak.
