also an edit because I forgot to say this, it wasn't confusing at all. you basically just said originally the plan was 6 but it changed because one chapter in specific was really long and it worked better as less chapters, and that you decided to split the first chapter into 2 as well. you also said it doesn't change the total length, which makes sense because you said you only split the other chapter's down to more which just means it's more chapters but not more content.
