Hi! The female version of the main character is not really a woman, therefore the appeal to him is male. This is a guy with a feminine appearance.

Well that's disappointing.  If you're going to have that option, just go all the way and have an actual female character.  If not, then just don't have that option at all.  Someone, like the original poster, might choose that because they actually want to play a female character, just to basically have the game give them the middle finger and tell them "Nope!  You wanted to play a female character?  Well you can't!  Even though I clearly show a female looking character that I say you can play as, she's actually male.  HA!"

We didn't put any such message in the character selection. This is just a condition of the game, not a mockery of the players. It's a pity that you're unhappy, but that's our game. you either like it or you don't) It is ok.

the picture above the sentence "~ 30+ characters (Oh, on the right is your possible character!)" shows only the player characters upper body and from that picture alone it clearly shows a female character.

maybe you could add the "male protagonist"-tag to your game? atleast in that case its clear, that players cant play as a female player character.

Exactly.  The picture shows what is clearly a female-looking character, yet the player won't know they can't play as a female until they play the game.  Nobody knew here, either, until you replied to someone's post.  I'm just saying that, if you don't want anyone to be able to play as a female, just make it that way.  It's no big deal, I don't mind (and I don't think anyone here would either), but you need to make that clear from the start.  It's pointless to me to have a picture of an obviously female-looking character, just to say "Oh, well, that's only because of in-game mods and it's actually still a male character, he just looks female, so all the other characters will still refer to him as such even though he clearly looks female."  It looks to be a good game, and I even downloaded it for myself, I just wish you had been more upfront with people about the character choices.

Okay, you're both right, we've put the tag "Male protagonist". Hopefully, this will no longer mislead the players.
